Important fitment notice: For the 3.4L Carrera and Carrera 4, Akrapovič specifies that this system is designed to replace the Porsche Sport Exhaust system. It does not fit Carrera or Carrera 4 models equipped with the Porsche non-Sport Exhaust system.

Exhaust Sound

The Akrapovič Slip-On Line is designed with a dual exhaust character, allowing the 991 to provide different sound characteristics depending on valve position.

With the valves closed, the exhaust produces a deeper tone than the factory system without being significantly louder.

With the valves open, the exhaust takes on a much more aggressive and motorsport-inspired character, producing a louder and more energetic sound.

Akrapovič also specifically designed the system with minimizing unwanted exhaust drone as one of the development priorities.

Exhaust Valves

The system incorporates exhaust valves that can be controlled by the vehicle's electronics when installed without the optional Sound Kit.

For customers looking for additional control, the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit allows the exhaust valves to be controlled wirelessly.

This provides the ability to switch between regular and sportier sound modes using the Sound Remote Controller or the Akrapovič Sound Kit Car App.
